Boys 50's Huffy Bike For Sale

Ok guys, check out my little gem! I cant say exactly what year the bike is, but I do know that it was made after 1951. Prior to 1951 all Huffy bikes were Huffman bicycles and the name "Huffy" only appeared after 1951. The bike is a 26 inch cruiser bike. It has no marks for a tank, which means it was their cheapest model. This model does not have a name on the bike other than "Huffy".

For those of you who don't know, in all honesty,  this bike in this condition, is insanely rare!! Huffy used the cheapest of the cheap supplies on parts and paint when building bikes after world war two. To find 50s Huffy in this condition is more rare than finding a Schwinn from the same period 10 to 1. Typically you find the higher end Huffy from this period because more wealthy people owned them and took better care of them. A 14 or 15 year old boy would have run this bike into the ground and ended up as a recycled metal in the 60s because they rusted and were made from cheap untempered steel. The Schwinn on the other hand was the only company to used heat treated tempered double budded chromoly steel. That's why you see hundreds and hundreds of rusted up Schwinn's still around and no Huffys, Road Masters or Murrys. This bike has the original paint and stamped tin head badge.

Little to no rust!

Isn't she lovely!
