Waking up is hard to do!

But not when you are in Mammoth! With 3 hours of sleep Vero and I woke up desperately searching for some coffee. Don't get me wrong, we were super pumped to hit the slopes but read the blog before.. it was a long, long journey getting there. I went upstairs in the little hostel and found some brew. It was there that I also ran into two accents in bright snow gear. "Must be a Euro thing"

Their names were Alex and George. Alex had bright yellow pants on and George had a bright green jacket. As I sat and chat with them all I could think about was where are my sunglasses and more coffee. I figured they were traveling though, as it turns out they were Engineers and lived in HB. Nice not too far away. Seemed fun enough, but I was here for a get-away from life. Later I learned that they found Vero and I to be quite hilarious cause we had pillow marks on our face still. Ha what a sight!

We parted ways shortly and the pictures in the blog describe best of what it was like to go boarding in May at Mammoth Mountain.

Check out the rainbow!

After a few beers...
and then a couple of more....carbo loading
Don't worry we made it back up the mountain for round two :)

Like I said it was a GREAT Trip
